Agility, balance, co-ordination and speed
Ball handling and individuals moves: pushes, flicks, sole rolls, take aways, cuts, pivots , locos, step ons, drag & drives, Cryuffs, Maradonas, step-overs,cross over turns, beckenbauers, scissors, double scissors, reverse scissors, Matthews, waddle, Beardsley dekes and feints, rainbows.
Running with the ball: close control with zigs and zags, slalom dribbling, speed dribbling, running with changes of foot part (inside, outside, sole), change of direction and of pace. Stops and starts using a variety of body parts: switching balls, dribbling in pairs, threes etc. Dribbling to lose a shadow, dribbling and following the leader, dribbling and shooting, dribbling and passing, dribbling and crossing. Clinical finishing and power shooting, dribbling 1 v 1, dribbling on ‘break aways'.
Passing: Take overs, wall passes ( forward and wide ) reverse wall passes, overlaps and underlaps. Push pass, laces pass, lofted pass, chip pass, outside of the foot pass, front foot pass, back heels. Crossing: early - from around the halfway line, across the 18 yard line, across the 6 yard box, cutback from the goal line, driven across the 6 yard box (near post , far post, penalty spot).
Controlling 'the high ball': wedges (inside and outside of foot), thighs, chest, laces, and heading (attacking, defending, and supporting).
Defending: the fundamentals of individual defending (quick , slow, down low ), the approach, the distance, the stance, body shape. Containment – control player movement (jockeying ), the challenge (poke check, block tackle), and regain possession.
Group attacking: expanding the field (width and depth). Set plays: throw ins, free kicks (direct and indirect), goal kicks, corner kicks, kick – offs.
Functional and phase of play: playing in the winger/ or the center midfield and playing out from the back. Player and position role and responsibilities.
Fitness training: ‘the ABC’S'.... Agility, Balance, Coordination and Speed.
Goalkeeping: footwork, ball handling, positioning, shot stopping, distribution, crosses, set pieces, communication, and Keeper/Sweeper.

- Volleys: side foot and laces, half volleys, bicycle kicks and scissors, and rainbows.
- Heading: attacking, defending, and supporting.
